I chose this song flaws and sins by Juice Wrld because it makes me think about how it is alright for everyone to depend on certain people or a certain person in their life. The song also makes the listener feel the different emotions that the song offered all the way throughout the performance. The emotions felt are different at different parts in the song. The very pronounced emotions that I felt in this song are along the lines of happiness and sadness. Even though happiness and sadness are very different emotions Juice Wrld does a very good job in letting you feel these different emotions throughout the song.

For example, one of the opening lines from the song is "your the lightning I'm the thunder there's a difference between I need you and I want you girl I need you." This poetically describes the way that Juice Wrld feels towards this girl. The emotions that I link with this song the most is both sadness and joy and even though they are complete opposite emotions I feel like at different parts throughout the song you can feel each of these emotions multiple times. A quote that is in this song that shows happiness is "atta boy I been turned to a man" I received this message as he was not or wouldn't be the person that he is now if he had never met this person that he loves. Another very powerful line is " I see light in all the darkness" this line perfectly describes all the emotions in this song by figuratively saying even though things are not 100% joyful and happy all the time this girl that he loves makes the bad times not as bad and she is allowing him to see the bright side of things. The message the artist is trying to get out to the listener at this point in the performance is to tell them to keep their head up no matter what is going on in their life there is always a bigger reason to keep pushing forward and there are always people that care about you and want you to succeed. At the end of the darkness there will be light.     

Juice Wrld also tells the listeners about how he knows how both himself and the person that he is in love with are not perfect and he explains that he appreciates everything about her even though it is something that other people would see as a flaw. The line states “I fell in love with all of your flaws and sins.” In saying this the artist poetically states how he loves not only the great things about this girl but everything about her even the things she might see herself as having “flaws”.  The artist continues with this line next by saying that her scars are really gorgeous which can be interpreted that everything that she went through mentally made her strong and he fell in love with that about her.
